All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication.</p> The Faculty of Education and Teaching Training, IAIN Jember en-US JIEMAN: Journal of Islamic Educational Management 2716-246X Prinsip Manajemen Berbasis Madrasah (MBM) dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Kepala Madrasah di MTS Al-Faaizun Watang Palakka https://jieman.iain-jember.ac.id/index.php/jieman/article/view/45 <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip-prinsip Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBM) dalam meningkatkan kinerja kepala madrasah di MTs Al Faaizun Watang Palakka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, obesrvasi, dan dokumentasi. Data-data itu kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis model interaktif dengan tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip MBM dalam meningkat-kan kinerja kepala madrasah, yaitu: 1) Prinsip ekuifinalitas berjalan dengan baik, yaitu dengan membuat suatu strategi sesuai kondisi madrasah baik jangka pendek, jangka menengah, dan jangka panjang; 2) Prinsip desentralisasi juga berjalan dengan baik, yaitu ketika guru mengalami kesulitan yang harus dilakukan adalah melakukan berbagai cara salah satunya dengan menggunakan pendekatan persuasif; 3) Pengelolaan mandiri berjalan dengan baik yaitu madrasah tersebut mampu mengembangkan tujuan pengajaran dengan menggunakan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP); 4) Prinsip inisiatif manusia berjalan dengan baik namun masih perlu dikembangkan dari segi kewirausahaannya. Adapun implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian teladan bagi warga madrasah, pelaksanaan tupoksi, menyusun perenca-naan madrasah, mengembangkan organisasi sesuai kebutuhan, jiwa kewirausahaan dalam pengadaaan sumber belajar peserta didik, dan strategi dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: manajemen berbasis madrasah, kinerja kepala madrasah</p> <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p><em>This study aims to determine the principles of school-based management (MBM) in improving the performance of madrasah principals at MTs Al Faaizun Watang Palakka. The research approach is </em><em>qualitative</em><em> using interview techniques, documentation, and observation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with three stages, namely the reduction stage, data display and the conclusion or verification stage. The results of the research show that the application of the principles of School Based Management in improving the performance of madrasah principals, namely the principle of equality is running well, by making a strategy according to the conditions of the madrasah both in the short, medium and long term, the principle of decentralization is also running well. , that is, when teachers experience difficulties, what must be done is to do various ways, one of which is by using a persuasive approach, self-management works well, namely the madrasah is able to develop teaching objectives using the Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP), the principle of human initiative works well but still needs to be developed in terms of entrepreneurship. Penelitian ini secara spesifik membahas tentang pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh pengawas madrasah yang terdiri dari perencanaan kegiatan supervisi, pelaksanaan supervisi hingga sampai tindak lanjut. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Alat analisis data yang digunakan model interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Semenyara itu, keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan trianggulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini <em>pertama</em>, perencanaan kegiatan supervisi akademik meliputi penyiapan instrumen supervisi, membuat rancangan pendekatan supervisi dan teknik supervisi dan penentuan waktu pelaksanaannya. <em>K</em><em>edua</em>, pelaksanaan kegiatan supervisi akademik dilakukan dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dan teknik individual dan kelompok. Teknik individual yakni pertemuan secara individu dengan guru, sedangkan teknik kelompok dengan cara menghadirkan seluruh guru untuk diskusi sebagai proses kelompok dan tukar-menukar pengalaman. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari pelaksanaan sepervisi, yakni pengawas memberikan pembinaan kepada guru dengan cara memberikan pelatihan.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: supervisi akademik, pengawas madrasah, kompetensi pedagogik</p> <p><strong><em>Abstra</em></strong><strong><em>ct</em></strong></p> <p><em>The study examined the execution of the madrassa supervisor's supervision in increased pedagogical teachers' competence. The study specifically discussed the implementation of academic supervisions carried out by madrassa supervisors of supervision activities, the administration of supervision down to follow-up. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data-collecting techniques use observation, interviews, and document study. The data analysis tool used by interactive models consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and deduction deduction. Incidentally, the validity of the data in this research uses source triulation. The results of this first study, the planning of the academic supervision activities included the preparation of supervision instruments, the design of supervision approaches and supervision techniques and the timing of the execution. Second, the performance of academic supervision is carried out with collaborative approaches and individual and group techniques. An individual technique of meeting individually with teachers, while a group technique presents all teachers to discussion as a group process and an experience swap.
